Parish of Jura

Jura is an island parish, which lies in Argyll and Bute Council Area, some 18 miles (30 km) west of Lochgilphead and 21 miles (34 km) northwest of Tarbert in Argyll and Bute and includes 3 other small offshore islands.

It is located in the old county of Argyllshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 365.4 sq. km (141 sq. miles).
