Parish of Kilfinan Kilfinan is a coastal parish, which lies in Argyll and Bute Council Area, some 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Tarbert and 10 miles (15 km) southeast of Lochgilphead in Argyll and Bute.It is located in the old county of Argyllshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 131.9 sq. km (50.9 sq. miles).
