Parish of Aberlady Aberlady is a small coastal parish, which lies in East Lothian Council Area, some 4 miles (6 km) northwest of Haddington and 6 miles (9 km) northeast of Prestonpans in East Lothian.It is located in the old county of East Lothian, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 17.6 sq. km (6.7 sq. miles).
