Parish of Killarow and Kilmeny

(Kilarrow and Kilmeny)

Killarow and Kilmeny is a coastal island parish, which lies on the island of Islay in Argyll and Bute Council Area, some 31 miles (50 km) west of Tarbert and 34 miles (54 km) southwest of Lochgilphead in Argyll and Bute.

It is located in the old county of Argyllshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 269.4 sq. km (104 sq. miles). Killarow and Kilmeny has Kilchoman and Kildalton as its neighbouring parishes.
