Parish of Port Glasgow

Port Glasgow is a small coastal parish, which lies in Inverclyde Council Area, some 4 miles (6 km) southeast of Greenock in Inverclyde and 5 miles (9 km) southwest of Alexandria in West Dunbartonshire.

It is located in the old county of Renfrewshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 7.5 sq. km (2.9 sq. miles) and includes the settlement of Port Glasgow. Port Glasgow has Greenock and Kilmacolm as its neighbouring parishes.
