Parish of Abbey St Bathans

Abbey St Bathans is a parish, which lies in the Scottish Borders Council Area, some 6 miles (9 km) north of Duns and 11 miles (18 km) west of Eyemouth in the Scottish Borders.

It is located in the old county of Berwickshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 23.7 sq. km (9.1 sq. miles). Abbey St Bathans has 7 neighbouring parishes; namely Bunkle & Preston, Cockburnspath, Coldingham, Cranshaws, Duns, Innerwick and Oldhamstocks. The boundaries of this parish were modified among significant changes recommended by the Boundary Commissioners after the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1889.
