Actress. Born in Annan (Dumfries and Galloway), Jensen trained at the National Youth Theatre in London and went on to study speech and drama at Queen Margaret College (Edinburgh). She began her acting career at the Citizens Theatre and Tron in Glasgow and the Traverse in Edinburgh.
After both classical and contemporary parts on the stage and a succession of minor television roles, Jensen came to prominence in the comedy series Extras (2005) with Ricky Gervais, for which she received a BAFTA nomination, together with two British Comedy Awards, the Golden Rose of Montreux Award and the Best Actress Award at the Monte Carlo International Television Festival. She has also starred as Christina McKinney in the hit US series Ugly Betty (2006).
She now lives in London.
