(Teampall Mholuaidh, Teampull Mholuidh, St Molveg's Church)
A restored mediaeval chapel situated on a raised ground, a short walk northeast of Eoropie in the Ness district of northern Lewis, St Moluag's or Molveg's Chapel (Gael: Teampall Mholuaidh or Teampull Mholuidh) most likely dates from the 12th - 14th centuries. The first building on this site was thought to have been erected by the Vikings and here an ancient cult once celebrated the sea-god Shony by offering ale on All Saints Day. The chapel was restored 1911-12 to provide a venue for worship for the Scottish Episcopalian Church. Although it was little used for many years, regular services were revived in 1994 despite a lack of heating and lighting which makes worship here impossible in the winter, when alternative premises in Tong are used.
Outside is a war memorial in the form of a Celtic cross.
