Lossburn Reservoir

A tiny reservoir on the course of the Loss Burn in the Ochil Hills of Stirling, Lossburn Reservoir is located 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Menstrie and 3 miles (5 km) east southeast of Dunblane. Built in 1897 and retained by an earth embankment dam, it is operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water.
