Barony Chambers

Built in 1815 as a meeting place for the Town Council, the Barony Chambers are located on West High Street in Kirkintilloch. The building has also served as court room, school and jail. For a time the late 20th century is became the Barony Chambers Museum. Today the building is used as a shop and offices, with the museum exhibits having been relocated to the adjacent Auld Kirk Museum.
