The Victoria Bridge is a flat three-span steel girder bridge which conveys the A79 over the River Ayr a half-mile (0.8 km) southeast of Ayr town centre in South Ayrshire. An original bridge here was rebuilt in 1959-61 at a cost of £50,000 by the Motherwell Bridge and Engineering Company, to designs by Glasgow-based consulting engineers F.A. Macdonald and Partners under the direction of Charles Eddie, the Burgh Surveyor. The bridge was widened in 1977 to carry a dual carriageway road.
