Menzieshill High School

A former local authority six-year non-denominational secondary school in Dundee, Menzieshill High School closed in 2016, its roll having declined from a peak of 1250 pupils in 1977 to just 499 in 2015. The pupils were transferred to the refurbished Harris Academy in the Perth Road. The school was built at a cost of just under £1 million and opened in 1971. Pupils were organised into four houses; namely Aberfeldy, Culdares, Fortingall and Weem, all named after localities associated with the Menzies clan.
