Ardlui Railway Station


(Àird Laoigh)

A railway station at the northern end of Loch Lomond in Argyll and Bute, Ardlui (Gael: Àird Laoigh) lies on the West Highland Line. Opened by the West Highland Railway Company in 1894, it is preceded by Arrochar & Tarbet Railway Station, 12½ miles (20 km) to the east southeast, and followed by Crianlarich, 7½ miles (12 km) to the northeast. Now operated by ScotRail, Ardlui Railway Station is unstaffed and was used by only 1970 passengers in 2009-10.
