A railway viaduct in the NW of Stirling Council Area, the Glenbruar Viaduct carries the West Highland Line across both the River Fillan and A85 trunk road in the village of Crianlarich, immediately to the north of Crianlarich Railway Station. It once also crossed the Callander & Oban Railway, but this line closed in 1965. This rather utilitarian lattice girder bridge is 57.6m (189 feet) in length and comprises five spans each of 10.7m (35 feet). It opened in 1894. The engineers were Formans & McCall of Glasgow, with Lucas & Aird of London acting as contractors and Alexander Findlay & Co of Motherwell responsible for the steel work.
