Parish of Inverness and Bona

Inverness and Bona is a coastal parish, which lies in Highland Council Area, some 10 miles (16 km) east of Beauly and 14 miles (22 km) southeast of Dingwall in Highland.

It is located in the old county of Invernessshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 122 sq. km (47.1 sq. miles) and includes the settlement of Inverness. Inverness and Bona has 6 neighbouring parishes; namely Daviot & Dunlichity, Dores, Kiltarlity & Convinth, Kirkhill, Petty and Urquhart & Glenmoriston.
