Nina Myskow


1946 -

Journalist and media personality. Born in St. Andrews, Myskow was educated in South Africa, at Bell Baxter High School (Cupar) and St. Andrew's University. She joined the publishing company of D.C. Thomson in Dundee as their first-ever female editor, working on the magazine Jackie, which was targeted at teenage girls. She went on to become a pop writer for The Sun newspaper and television critic for the News of the World. Although continuing to write for the Mail on Sunday, Myskow also made her mark in broadcasting. She worked a presenter on LBC Radio and has taken part in Woman's Hour, Start The Week and Midweek for the BBC.

On television, she was a judge on the talent show New Faces, a regular panellist on Through the Keyhole and TV critic on The Television Show for TVS. She presented Nina versus the Rest and Nina on BSB and remains a popular guest on various television chat, food and games shows.

Her autobiography is Love, Sex and the Pursuit of Chocolate.
