Judo champion. Born in Bellshill (North Lanarkshire), the younger sister of Louise Renicks (b.1982), the pair were brought up in Coatbridge, where Kimberley still lives. Coached by her father who runs a judo club in the town, she had success winning the Oceania Open in 2013 before collecting a gold medal in the under-48kg event at the Commonwealth Games of 2014, held in Glasgow.
