Arabella Louisa Rankin


1871 - 1943

Minor artist. Born in Muthill (Perth and Kinross), Rankin was noted for colour woodcut prints, particularly of Iona produced in the 1920s. She worked in Edinburgh for a time, moved to London, then returned to Crieff in 1913 before permanently settling in London in 1922. Both the British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum hold examples of her work.
