Hailey Duff


1997 -

Olympic medal-winning curler. Born in Auckland (New Zealand), Duff was raised in Forfar (Angus) and remains a member of Forfar Curling Club. Her father, John Duff, was a champion curler and she took up the sport at the age of eight. Duff was educated at Forfar Academy and the University of Stirling, graduating in Business and Finance. She gained a bronze medal at the Scottish Mixed Doubles Championships in Glasgow (2015), playing with her father, and a further bronze at the Scottish Women's Curling Championship in Perth (2019). She then joined Vicky Wright (b. 1993), Jenn Dodds (b. 1991) and Mili Smith (b. 1998) in Eve Muirhead's team, winning a gold medal at the European Curling Championships in Lillehammer (Norway) in 2021 and another gold medal at the Beijing Winter Olympics of 2022. Duff was awarded an MBE later the same year.
