The Bin Hill of Cullen rises to 320m (1050 feet) to the south west and on the shore of
Cullen Bay are three sandstone rock stacks known as the Three Kings of Cullen.
The
Ogilvies, who acquired the
Deskford and Findlater estates by marriage in the 15th Century, were created earls of Findlater in 1638. That title became extinct with the death of the 7th earl in 1811 when Cullen passed to the earls of Seafield.
