Langhill Farm

A dairy farm in N Midlothian, Langhill is located a quarter-mile (0.5 km) east of Bilston and ¾ mile (1.2 km) north northwest of Roslin. Owned and operated by the University of Edinburgh, who bought the property in 2002, it is used for teaching and research primarily by the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, and includes an on-site classroom. Extending to 250 ha (618 acres), the farm is stocked with 220 cows and include sizeable sheds and a milking parlour. It is operated in conjunction with Dryden Farm, which lies immediately to the southeast.
