North Ayrshire

A small village in the SW of the island of Arran (North Ayrshire), Torbeg lies a mile (1.5 km) north of Blackwaterfoot and 2 miles (3 km) south of Tormore. The Machrie Moor Standing Stones lie 2 miles (3 km) to the northeast of the hamlet while a mile (2 km) to the northwest lies King's Cave, believed by some to be the setting for the legend of Robert the Bruce and the spider.
