A hamlet on the island of Skye in the Inner Hebrides, Staffin lies on the shore of Staffin Bay, 17 miles (27 km) north of Portree. The Columba 1400 Community and International Leadership Centre is based in Staffin and prehistoric dinosaur footprints and other fossils have been discovered in Jurassic sedimentary rocks of the foreshore nearby at An Corran.
