A small settlement at the mouth of the River Romesdal on the western side of the Trotternish Peninsula of Skye, Romesdal lies on the A87 trunk road, overlooking Loch Snizort Beag, a half-mile (1 km) northwest of Eyre and 1¼ miles (2 km) southwest of Kingsburgh.
