Scoraig

Highland

A small and isolated crofting community of Wester Ross, in Highland Council Area, Scoraig lies on the northern shore of Little Loch Broom, 1½ miles (2.5 km) southeast of Cailleach Head. Disconnected from the road network, it is accessible by boat from the jetty at Badluarach, on the opposite side of the loch (there is no ferry), or by a 4-mile (6.5-km) walk from Badrallach to the southeast. Scoraig School is located in the adjacent township of Carnach. Power is provided by several wind turbines.
