Fountain, Nethybridge

A small village in Strathspey, Nethy Bridge lies on the River Nethy, 5 miles (8 km) south southwest of Grantown-on-Spey. It developed in the 18th century in association with sawmilling and during the late 19th century attracted tourists following the arrival of the railway in 1865. There is a school, hotel, outdoor centre and 9-hole golf course.
