Kirkhill

Highland

A village in Easter Ross, Kirkhill lies 10 miles (16 km) west of Inverness where the Moniack Burn enters the Beauly Firth. Wine is produced at the 17th-century Moniack Castle and fine soaps are manufactured locally. The Wardlaw Mausoleum was built on the site of the old church by the Frasers of Lovat in 1634.
