Post Office and Junction, Latheron

A small village in a parish of the same name near the east coast of Caithness in Highland Council Area, Latheron lies at the junction of the A99 coastal road to Wick with the A9 road north to Thurso, 15 miles (24 km) southwest of Wick. The 17th-century Baldoo Bell on a nearby hilltop used to summon people to the old parish church which is now the Clan Gunn Heritage Centre.
