A crofting township overlooking the east coast of the Trotternish peninsula of the island of Skye in Highland Council Area, Lealt (Gael: Lethallt) lies 11 miles (17 km) north of Portree. The Lealt River, which rises in the foothills of Hartaval, flows to the south of the village before emptying into the Sound of Raasay.
