A village in Easter Ross, Highland Council Area, Contin lies on the Black Water, 4 miles (6.5 km) southwest of Strathpeffer. It developed in the 20th Century in association with tourism and the creation of the nearby Torr Achilty hydro-electric power station.
Contin Primary School closed in 2000.
