A small settlement in Glen Fruin (Argyll and Bute), West Kilbride is situated 3 miles (5 km) north of Helensburgh. This was the site of St. Bride's Chapel, with a burial ground. An Early-Mediaeval cross-slab is all that remains. In the 19th C. the little Glenfruin School was located here.
