A small settlement in Easter Ross, Highland Council Area, Ardross lies to the west of the Struie Road, 2 miles (3 km) north of Alness. Ardross Castle, a former seat of the Munros, was remodelled in baronial style in 1880 for Charles William Dyson Perrins (1864 - 1958) the Worcester sauce millionaire.
