Carnwadric

Glasgow City

A residential suburb of Glasgow, lying to the south of the city centre, Carnwadric was developed as a public housing scheme in the 1920s, with cottage-style blocks. A school was added in the 1930s, a church in 1955 and five high-rise housing blocks were erected in the late 1960s.
