Knockentiber


East Ayrshire

A village located close to the western boundary of East Ayrshire, Knockentiber lies a quarter-mile (0.5 km) north northeast of Crosshouse and 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Kilmarnock. Coal-mining was once an important activity and a railway junction lay at the north end of the village. The Carmel Water flows just to the east.
