A village in The Rhins, Dumfries and Galloway, Dunragit lies on the A 75 road, 6 miles (10 km) southeast of Stranraer. In 1979 the 12-acre Glenwhan Garden and Nursery nearby was created out of a bracken and gorse covered hillside.
