Port Erroll

Aberdeenshire

A small harbour settlement in east Aberdeenshire, Port Erroll lies immediately southeast of Cruden Bay, where the Water of Cruden enters the Bay of Cruden, an inlet of the North Sea between Aberdeen and Peterhead. Formerly known as the Ward of Cruden, its harbour was developed in the 19th Century for shipping corn and importing coal and other goods.
