Panbride


Angus

A dormitory settlement in southeast Angus, Panbride and the Newton of Panbride lie just north of Carnoustie in a parish of the same name. The barony of Panbride once belonged to the ancestors of the noted historian Hector Boece (1465 - 1536). The Gothic-style parish church dates from 1851. Panbride House lies to the east.
