Easter Elchies

Moray

A distillery village of Moray, Easter Elchies overlooks the left bank of the River Spey, a mile to the west of Craigellachie. The old Grant family house of Easter Elchies, which dates from 1700, was restored for The Macallan distillery. Macallan (St Colin) takes its name from a former parish of the same name which united with Knockando in the late 16th Century.
