Located on the northern coast of the island of North Uist in the Western Isles, Newtonferry (Gael: Port nan Long) is a small settlement lying to the north of Beinn Mhor and a mile (1.5 km) south west of the Berneray Causeway. A passenger ferry once left from Newtonferry for Berneray. To the southeast is the remarkable broch Dun an Sticer.
