Swordale

A crofting township in the southwest of the Eye Peninsula on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Swordale (also Suardale, Gael: Suardail) lies immediately to the south of Knock and 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Garrabost. The settlement overlooks Loch Braigh na h-Aoidhe and the narrow isthmus which connects the peninsula to the majority of Lewis.
