Aberdeenshire

A village of Buchan in Aberdeenshire, Memsie is situated at a crossroads, 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Fraserburgh. To the east on Cairn Muir is the Bronze-Age Cairn of Memsie, a round cairn dating from the 2nd millennium BC. Sand and gravel is excavated from the nearby Cairnmuir Quarry.
