A picturesque settlement 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Blairgowrie, in E Perth and Kinross, Netherton (or Netherton of Cloquhat) lies on the Black Water near its confluence with the River Ericht at Bridge of Cally. Its mill, smithy, cottages and Gothic Free Church Mission date from the 19th Century.
