A scattered hamlet in the Badenoch district of Highland Council Area, Laggan (also Laggan Bridge) lies in the upper valley of the River Spey, 7 miles (12 km) southwest of Newtonmore and a similar distance north of Dalwhinnie. There is another Laggan in the Great Glen, 20 miles (32 km) to the west.
