An abandoned settlement on the right bank of the River Falloch in Argyll and Bute, Garabal is situated between the A82 trunk road and the West Highland Railway, a mile (1.5 km) north of Ardlui at the head of Loch Lomond. A ruined farmhouse lies close to the site of a pre-improvement agricultural settlement, with the remains of a rig and furrow field system and various dry-stone enclosures. Garabal Hill rises to the west.
