A road-end hamlet in the Lochalsh district of Highland Council Area, Ardaneaskan is located 2 miles (3 km) west of Stromemore and a similar distance northeast of Plockton on the north shore of Loch Carron. The Ardaneaskan Croft Museum is located in a iron-roofed outbuilding here, and there is also a little corrugated-iron church.
