Claddach Kirkibost (Cladach Chirceboist, Cladach Chircebost, Cladach Chirceaboist) Western Isles One of a string of small crofting townships on the southwest coast of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Claddach Kirkibost (Gael: Cladach Chirceboist, Chirceaboist or Chircebost) lies on the A865 road between Claddach Kyles and Claddach Illeray, 2½ miles (4 km) southeast of Bayhead. Once the local school and school-house, the Claddach Kirkibost Centre (Ionad Chladach Chirceaboist) was renovated in 1998 to form a community centre, which now offers exhibition space, a shop, cafĂ© and day-nursery.
