A small settlement on the northeast coast of South Harris, Meavaig (Gael: Miabhaig or Meabhag) lies on the south coast of Loch Ceann Dibig, an embayment in East Loch Tarbert, 2½ miles (4 km) south of Tarbert. Another Meavaig lies 7 miles (11 km) to the northwest.
