A location in S Aberdeenshire, Uras lies 2½ miles (4 km) south of Stonehaven. Uras lies a quarter-mile (0.5 km) inland of Hope Cove and comprises Uras itself, Uras Knaps and Mill of Uras. The Barony of Uras was granted to Thomas Rait by King Robert III in 1371.
