A location on the Orkney Mainland, Cursiter lies on the southern shore of the Bay of Firth 4 miles (6.5 km) west northwest of Kirkwall. The remains of the late 16th-century Hall of Cursiter are to be found here, along with the Old Manse of Firth, a farm and a sandstone quarry.
