A locality on the Rhins of Galloway in Dumfries and Galloway, Curghie lies to the northeast of Kirkmaiden, a half-mile (1 km) northwest of Drummore. Curghie Bay opens into Luce Bay, and the farm of Low Curghie lies on its shores. There are further farms at Mid Curghie (next to Curghie bridge) and High Curghie, which lies to the south of Kirkmaiden.
